Research Assistant (RA) Guide

Research assistant application workflow in the comprehensive university system:

Faculty members of the university can assign teaching assistants for their courses in order to use the scientific and research capabilities of master's and PhD students, following special rules and regulations. It should be noted that during the study period, master's degree students can benefit from these benefits for a maximum of 12 months and PhD students for a maximum of 30 months.

     1- Requesting for a research assistant through the service desk of the comprehensive university system by the student (Golestan.sbu.ac.ir)
     2- Completing the research assistant form and confirming the information by the student, including (name and surname, student number, field of study, type of application (bachelor’s, master’s, etc.), name of supervisor or consultant, date and duration of assistantship, bank account number only "Tejarat bank" and in the name of the student)
     3- Approving and sending the application form to the relevant professor through the service desk of the university system
     4- Selecting the location of the special credit by the supervisor or consultant and then confirming and sending the request
     5- Reviewing and approving the application by the research expert of the faculty/research institute (completion of all fields is required).
     6- Approving and submitting the application by the research assistant of the faculty/ research institute
     7- Approving the request by the research and technology support management
     8- Reviewing and approving the application by the research assistant expert (research assistant)
     9- Approving the financial agent and the deposit of the research assistant's fee to the account number of "Tejarat Bank" announced by the student

Important points:
     1- In case of any change in the number of requested months, it is necessary to make changes in the form.
     2- Amounts should be registered through the service desk of the university system.
     3- The maximum allowed limit for each request is 12 months.
     4- It is necessary to determine the location of credit by the respected teacher or consultant.
