About the Association:

This association was formed due to the increasing importance of electrical engineering (power and control) with the following goals:
  • 1. Improving existing educational and research facilities

  • 2. Creating a suitable platform for student, scientific and industrial activities

  • 3. Creating a motivational and competitive atmosphere to encourage students to do scientific and practical activities

  • 4. Establishing relationships with associations and scientific research institutions and providing a platform for scientific cooperation

  • 5. Efforts to improve the status of Shahid Beheshti University in the field of electrical engineering
The main activities of this association are in the field of electrical engineering, control, power, power transmission and distribution networks, and planning and operation of power systems. For this purpose, several courses, workshops and webinars have been held or are being implemented in the mentioned fields. Also, this association, with the efforts of Mr. Seyed Ali Mousavi Tabar and the consultations of Dr. Mansour Rafiei and with the cooperation of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, has held meetings with the members of the faculty to solve the challenges specific to electrical students, in which the educational and research affairs of the students of this field be paid attention to and the existing problems be solved as much as possible. The following can be mentioned among the programs of the electrical engineering association:
  • 1. Specialized workshops and essay writing groups under the supervision of Dr. Hossein Torkaman

  • 2. Setting up the website of the electrical engineering association at Sbuea.ir

  • 3. Nab, PPPC and Amber magazines (PPPC magazine is the only full English magazine of Shahid Beheshti University)
